Dirt Bike Pics - Gallery 3

These MX pictures were taken at the Oceania Motocross Challenge held at my home track at Barrabool, Australia in November 2005. An Australian team took on a team From New Zealand with Australia taking the honors.

Kiwi Josh Coppins was simply too good in the Pro Open class, winning comfortably despite the attempts of Aussie Craig Anderson and fellow Kiwi Damien King to run Coppins down. Coppins was a level above everyone else, showing exactly what sort of pace and consistency is required to be competitive in the MX GP world where he was runner up in the World Championships in 2005.

Australian Brett Metcalfe was the man to beat in the Pro Lites class, taking a clean sweep on the day. He had to contend with some spirited oposition from Kiwi Scott Columb and fellow Aussies Lewis Stewart and Troy Dorron. Dorron was on a CR125 and did an amazing job wringing the neck of his bike to keep up on what was essentially a big horsepower track.

Keep an eye on these pages, we'll be adding more dirt bike pictures as we take them.
